Suicide Squad's New Trailer

For the past few years I think it's been pretty apparent that between Marvel and DC, the former has had the upper hand on the silver screen. But after seeing the new Suicide Squad trailer, it seems like DC's fed up with being second best and tables are about to turn.

For those who aren't very familiar, the movie is about a group of super villains, the Suicide Squad (thus the title), tasked by Amanda Waller, the chief of A.R.G.U.S. (a super secret government agency) to take on extremely dangerous suicide missions for the greater good (kind of). If they say no or try to escape? They get killed.

Watch out Marvel, DC's definitely stepping up their game.

Now, we've heard that Zack Snyder (director of Batman v Superman) and Ben Affleck (Batman) already threw some shade at Marvel, but now even Suicide Squad director David Ayer threw shade at Marvel during the San Diego Comic Con. 

"And all this 'good vs. evil' is kind of played out right now," said Ayer. "It's time for bad vs. evil right? Time for a movie about bad guys. And who's got the best bad guys out there? DC Comics. Best villains ever. Now, I'm not trying to start no, you know, east coast/west coast feud with Marvel comics, now. But, hey, someone's gotta say the truth, all right?" Can't say he's right. Can't say he's wrong either.

So far, Suicide Squad's nearly breaking the internet, receiving an overwhelming amount of both positive and negative feedback (mostly from Margot Robbie's and Jared Leto's characters Harley Quinn and The Joker).
