Sof x Cza Goes To Foodgasm 2016

Well. We didn't get lost, which is a big feat for us. It was drizzling, but the rain (and the storm Karen) couldn't dampen the spirits of the people there. When we got to the venue, we listened to our stomachs (yeah, that really happened) and picked from these sets prepared.

Design Your Life Back to Basics Planner Review

Still looking for the one even though it's a bit late? Still hoping that it's there for you, somewhere, with everything you want and more? Look no further! Try the Design Your Life Planner by CNS Designs.

Personally, I'm not the type who goes out to the bookstore to casually look for a planner and buy one on the same day. I search for planners, figure out which I like best, and then research on those. I look for ones that are minimalistic enough to draw/paint on and those with features that would be useful to my lifestyle. After trimming the list countless times, I decided to get the DYL, Back to Basics.

Design Your Life has two branches or types. The original one which has a more fun and trendy vibe and the back to basics one with a minimalistic feel. You can actually take a test (chill, guys. Its the fun kind) to know which of the two would suit your personality.

DYL Back to Basics with Freebies
Here's mine. Heh. It came with a bunch of freebies (which i'm really happy about. Yay, free stuff!) Here are some pictures of the planner.

Newfound Love for Kygo (Your Ears Will Thank Me Later For This)

If you haven't heard of Kygo before this post, read on and you guys(and your ears) can thank me later. ;) (It is advisable to listen to the tracks below with quality earphones/headphones in a reasonably high volume for optimum musical experience)

Recently labelled as the next EDM superstar by Billboard Magazine, Kygo (Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll), has gone from bedroom producer to one of the freshest and hottest DJs on the planet at the age of 24. After getting over 80 million views on YouTube and SoundCloud, Kygo was contacted by both Avicii, and Chris Martin of Coldplay to create official remixes of one of the artists' songs.

The first time I heard about Kygo, it was summer 2014 when my friend CV played (for quite a number of times) his remix of this track called Younger by Senaibo Sey during our 6-hour car ride to Baguio. I'm not exactly sure if it was love at first beat or it kinda just grew on me but either way, I completely fell in love with this song. Go ahead and click on the play button below to hear for yourselves.

Suicide Squad's New Trailer

For the past few years I think it's been pretty apparent that between Marvel and DC, the former has had the upper hand on the silver screen. But after seeing the new Suicide Squad trailer, it seems like DC's fed up with being second best and tables are about to turn.

For those who aren't very familiar, the movie is about a group of super villains, the Suicide Squad (thus the title), tasked by Amanda Waller, the chief of A.R.G.U.S. (a super secret government agency) to take

Study Cheat Sheet

© seaweed brain.
It's back to school for most of the students here in the country. As important as school is, we can't deny the fact that it does get pretty tough and frustrating at some point. I've been through this struggle, and though I'm not done with it for good (college is on the way), I'm proud to say that graduating high school is already a feat on its own. I'm no Einstein, but I do have some techniques that just might help you get the mindset you need to make studying significantly less dreadful.

Say 'Good morning' and Mean it

Wakey wakey, eggs and bakey!

One quick question.
Are mornings
a) annoying
b) the bane of your existence
c) relaxing
d) a lame excuse to drink coffee?

Adventures In Sagada

As I said in my previous post, Sagada isn't just a place where broken hearts go to shout their agonies on top of a mountain or to search for their new tadhana (destiny). It's a place ruled by the majesty of mother nature. It's a place free from the horrid noise and pollution of modernization. It's a place filled with adventure.

In Search of Tadhana: Sagada

If, like my mom, you first heard of Sagada from the film That Thing Called Tadhana, and thought to yourself, "Hey, this place seems pretty rad", well I'm here to tell you that it's even better up close.

Unlike what people who've learned about the place from the film know, Sagada isn't just a place where broken hearts go to shout their agonies on top of a mountain or to search for their new tadhana (destiny). It's so much more.

Before getting to Sagada, we dropped by Banaue to have our breakfast and

Chapter One

Who cares if peace signs are mainstream?
We really have no idea how to make an intro line for an intro post so let's just go with the cliches. Welcome to our new blog, Wide Smiles & Little Eyes! We're mostly gonna do our blog posts individually but we decided to make our first post ever (cue confetti) together. Okay, so judging by our faces and small statures we probably look like sixth graders to you. But
